I recently stayed at Koh Mak Resort in Koh Mak during a business trip. I must say, the hotel chosen by our director exceeded my expectations in many ways. the resort boasts a stunning 1.5-kilometer private beach, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day of meetings. The beach is truly a hidden gem, with a long stretch of shore where I could enjoy walks and explore the natural beauty of the island. It features both an adult pool and a kids' pool, allowing guests of all ages to enjoy a refreshing swim. The best part? The pool faces the sea, providing a breathtaking view that instantly puts you in a state of relaxation.

The setting is very pleasant and the deluxe bungalow very comfortable...beautiful beach but very shallow water especially at low tide so not that good for swimming but safe for young children. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Getting bitten by sand flies!

The beachfront location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. Situated on the pristine North Western beach of Koh Mak, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the crystal-clear blue waters. The white sandy beach is well-maintained and provides the perfect spot for relaxation and sunbathing.
Our stay at this hotel was great with no major issues.

The location of the resort and our Svit Superior room was to die for! The stunning view outside our glassdoors and the amazing luxurious interior design both in- and outside the room felt like a dream. Our stay on Koh Mak Resort was worth every single baht. I dearly recommend this hotel. ps. I also recommend you to rent a motorbike to swim at one of many lonely beaches around the island.
We had some uninvited animals on visit in our room due to the djungle-shower but thanks to the staff and their kind service we did not need to worry about it. They do pestcontrol several times a week and when it comes down to it, a few bugs is worth the design and experience of the rainshower..

We loved this beachfront resort with its natural feel. The hotel facilities were excellent and provided us with all we needed; it even had an organic garden with fresh vegetables and fruit. Moreover, we appreciated its close proximity to the beach, which was never too crowded and allowed for total privacy. The staff was very helpful, and the bar served excellent cocktails, happy hour being a particular favorite of ours.
Nothing that we didn't like.

Everything. The beach. The friendly staff. A quiet and relaxing vacation.
If anything, maybe the lack of activities due to the low season.

Stayed on a remote island for a business trip and it was like paradise on Earth. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and pier for boats. The restaurant offered delicious food and the bar was a great place to unwind after a long day of work.
The low season led to maintenance work and renovations, causing some noise and disruption during the stay. The quality of the amenities provided, such as towels and bedding, could be improved to match the price point of the hotel.

This hotel offers great value for money, with prices that are affordable for a beachfront location. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are located right on the beach, providing fantastic views of the beautiful coastline. The basic amenities are well-maintained, and the working AC keeps you cool in the tropical heat.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was excellent and we couldn't find anything to complain about.

During my stay, the resort staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, right on the beach with the pier right outside. The room was clean and comfy with a stunning view of the clear waters. The breakfast was delicious and there was a great restaurant just down the beach.
There was an issue with sandflies on the beach, but the resort staff were doing their best to manage the situation, and provided a range of solutions to help guests avoid getting bitten.

Beach was good and staff were friendly. The food wasn't bad. The location was also quite good.
The hotel room was in terrible condition, not well maintained and was not properly cleaned. The toilets were dirty.

The value for money at this resort was impressive. The room was stunning with glass walls, allowing us to enjoy the view of the ocean from our bed. The location was perfect, right on the beach with amazing views of the blue water and the nearby Koh Kham island. The staff were friendly and cooperative, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Hotel breakfast could have been better.
